Homemade Carob
I love chocolate. I do. But I really wanted to get a good carob recipe under my belt… And this is it.
Carob is a tropical pod like plant. You buy it in a powdered form which is the roasted and ground carob pod! It’s naturally very sweet and also a little higher in natural sugar when compared to cacao.
Look… Carob is not chocolate and it’s not cacao, it’s a different thing but I have to say I like the sweet and caramel kind of flavour it offers! I like this recipe as it doesn’t use any sweetener, because honestly it’s sweet enough on its own with the carob.
