Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
For something so simple, chocolate covered strawberries are always a crowd favourite. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love to see these served at the end of a night.
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
A simple yet always special healthy dessert with only two ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
- 20 strawberries, fresh
- 150g dark chocolate (85-90%), broken into pieces
METHOD
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring between each.
- Line a plate or tray with baking paper.
- Gently dip the strawberries in the bowl of chocolate, holding them by the green tips, using a spoon to coat if needed. Lift the strawberry up to drain a little, allowing the excess to drip, then place on the prepared baking paper. Repeat for all strawberries and set in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Notes
- To melt the chocolate in a double boiler, place a ceramic or glass bowl of chocolate over a small pot with gently simmering water, ensuring the bowl isn’t touching the water. Gently stir chocolate until no lumps remain then remove from the heat.
