Blue Beauty Smoothie

This smoothie is one I always come back to time and time again. It’s easy and most of the time I have these ingredients on hand. It’s also low in carbohydrates.

I like to keep my smoothies this way to fit in with my low carb lifestyle. And for this reason, I chose selected fruits in selected amounts to keep my smoothies low in sugar. And sometimes I don’t use any fruit at all.

Berries are a daily for me – they are low in sugar compared to other fruits, high in antioxidants and they are delicious!

If you are looking to reduce the sugar in your diet, there’s no need to give up fruit completely, but it can be very easy to over consume leaving your daily sugar intake soaring without even really noticing it. So with that in mind, being mindful of the fruit you are eating will always do you well.
