Oat Milk French Toast
Even though French toast is not actually French, it’s a really fun thing to make, especially with children. And it’s surprisingly wholesome despite its indulgent reputation – it’s all in the ingredients you choose and the way you make it!
In this version, I’ve used my favourite OMG oat milk (the only one I will buy), and I use just vanilla and cinnamon, instead of sugar, to add a bit of sweetness.
This is best served with fresh fruit (I always find this adds all the sweetness you need), but you can also add ricotta, coconut yoghurt, almond butter and maybe even a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you feel like it.
